Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the GMC Sync application (the "App"), operated by Intulon ("we", "us"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The service

GMC Sync reads your Shopify store's product, pricing, availability, and shipping configuration and publishes corresponding shipping settings, product data, and availability to your Google Merchant Center account, on a schedule and according to the settings you configure. The App is a tool to assist with Merchant Center data; it does not guarantee any particular advertising outcome, approval, or ranking on Google.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must have an active Shopify store and a Google Merchant Center account that you are authorized to manage. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

3. Plans, billing & trials

  • Paid plans are billed through Shopify's billing system according to the plan you select. Prices, product limits, and features are described in the App and on our website.
  • Free plans are subject to usage limits (for example, a maximum number of products synced). Exceeding a plan's limits may require an upgrade.
  • Trials, if offered, convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends. You can change or cancel your plan at any time via Shopify.
  • Charges are handled by Shopify; refunds are subject to Shopify's policies.

4. Your responsibilities

  • Ensure your Shopify shipping, pricing, and product data are accurate — the App publishes based on what your store reports.
  • Comply with Google Merchant Center and Shopify policies, and with all applicable laws, for the products and data you publish.
  • Do not use the App to publish prohibited, misleading, or infringing content.

5. Third-party services

The App integrates with Shopify and Google. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for changes, outages, or decisions made by Shopify or Google, including product disapprovals or account actions taken by Google Merchant Center.

6. Availability & changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, and may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the three months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using the App and uninstall it at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms. On termination, the data-handling described in our Privacy Policy applies.
